My Story

Ancuta (Ann) Nedescu

Hi, I am Ann Nedescu, an International Medical Graduate (IMG), Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant (C.H.N.C.) and Reiki Master (RM). I graduated from the University of Medicine ‘Carol Davila’, Bucharest, Romania in 2010 and completed my residency training in Clinical Pharmacology for 4 years before moving to Canada with my spouse. During my residency training, I faced some personal health challenges and discovered the benefits of a wholesome food diet and natural supplements. I started researching this alternative approach as it positively influenced my well-being.

I decided to deepen my understanding of natural-based nutrition and natural supplements by enrolling in the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, graduating and becoming a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant (C.H.N.C.) in 2019. I am driven by a desire to enhance people’s well-being and lead a natural and healthy lifestyle. This holistic approach motivated me to seek more ways to improve human health and further my knowledge, therefore I pursued Reiki training, obtaining the Reiki Master (RM) certification in 2020.

My own personal health challenges motivated me to integrate a holistic approach into my practice. My medical expertise and knowledge in holistic nutrition and energy work allow me to positively impact many lives by empowering people to become healthier, happier and more prosperous. While I keep learning and adding new alternative ways to improve health to my practice, I always find time to enjoy and explore the beautiful Canadian Rockies by scrambling and climbing together with my husband and hiking with my lovely friends.
